Optimum Shipping Pte Ltd is a dynamic shipping company based in Singapore. The company offers extensive
range of ship management services including commercial management, technical management and crew
management.
At present Optimum Shipping Pte Ltd is working as a third party ship manager for Orion Oil and Shipping
Limited, a subsidiary of Orion Group, Bangladesh. The current vessel under its ship management is MT Orion
Express. Both companies have made Bareboat Charter Party Agreement with Orion Oil and Shipping Limited as
the Head Owner and Optimum Shipping Pte Ltd as the Disponent Owner, with the latter responsible for total
ship management including handling of all operating expenses, fuel, crew, port expenses, P&I and Hull and
Machinery Insurance.
With a highly experienced and strong compliance team, the company ensures vessel under management - are
operated in a safe, reliable and efficient manner. Apart from ship management, the company is also involved
in oil purchase and trading. Some of its customers include national oil companies, multinational and leading
industrial, chemical companies such as Vitol and Trafigura.
We believe strong relationships are central to our fuel oil business and they enable us to respond efficiently
to the requests of our customers. With this motto, the company is currently experiencing significant growth
with plans to increase its fleet portfolio in the coming years in line with Orion Group’s industrial expansion. In
addition the company is also undergoing further expansion in oil purchase and international trading.
